FORCE has made remarkable strides in the socio-economic development of youth in Eastern Uganda, achieving several notable accomplishments. By implementing targeted vocational training programs, FORCE has equipped young people with essential skills in trades such as carpentry, tailoring, and agriculture, significantly enhancing their employability and self-sufficiency. Additionally, the organization has facilitated access to microfinance and entrepreneurial training, enabling youth to start and sustain their own businesses, thereby stimulating local economies and reducing poverty rates.
The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), together with the BMZ Youth Advisory Council, organized an International Youth Forum from 21 November until 27 November 2022 in Berlin to which around 20 young people from partner countries of German development cooperation were selected to participate in this Youth Forum.
The aim of the Youth Forum was a joint exchange and mutual learning about opportunities and challenges for youth participation, based on the experiences of young people from partner countries of German development cooperation.
